“Thin Ice”
Fall has Fallen down this year.
We’ve skipped straight thru to winter.
And the cracks in the ice are there as warning signs.
We keep skating around.
Every time we crash down –
that much closer to drowning.
As the Sun shines down its golden rays,
the cracks widen but we still will play.
And the cracks in the ice are there as warning signs.
We keep skating around.
Every time we crash down –
that much closer to drowning.
Snow has cooled the fires within.
Maybe momentary, but when will we begin?
And the cracks in the ice are there as warning signs. |
